Suggestion for a process health and status dashboard android application

I am planning to develop an Android Application which would be a kind of a dashboard signifying the live health and status of the different processes. I am concerned about the GUI, as in how to display the it as I want them to be intuitive from GUI point of view. I am confused whether I should go for HTML5 or some API for displaying progression bars? Also if you could provide me the name of an existing app for reference
