HTML5 popup style as the default style for jquery validation plugin error messages

I am trying to use jQuery validation plugin for my form validation. The problem is that by default it is appending the error message to the form. Instead I want the default HTML5 popup style for showing the error messages.

The below is an example of the HTML 5 popup style that I am talking about in Chromium browser version 40.0.2214.111 Ubuntu 14.04 (64-bit).

How can I change the default error display style for jquery validation plugin to HTML5 style popups?
